What is Attraction Marketing?

Attraction Marketing helps you generate good quality leads. You've probably come up with dead end leads if you:

1.) Use the "3 foot rule" (that is mentioning your business opportunity to      anyone within 3 feet of you)

2.) Make a list of everyone you know and annoy them with your      opportunity

3.) Buy leads

4.) Leave your business cards in random places

5.) Use direct mail

When you practice marketing by attraction, people will actually approach you about your business. Yes, you read that right, people will actually ask you about your business.

Attraction marketing is different than traditional marketing because you are "serving" not "selling" your customer.

You want to connect with them. You want to let them know that you understand where they are coming from because you've been there before. You want to let them know that you are there for them every step of the way.

Marketing by attraction is generally more successful than traditional marketing because people don't like being sold.

People like to collect information and then make their own decision on whether or not to buy. So, you want your customers to see you as an honest, reliable information source.

Here's the bottom line- people are more likely to buy from you if they trust you. That is why it is important to connect with them on some level.

People strive for connection-its human nature! You have to market yourself in a way that people will connect with you and trust your opinion.

When someone comes to your website, they don’t know who you are. Truthfully, they are probably skeptical about your intentions.

This is why it is important to give them complete, accurate, honest information without hype. You want your customers to feel like they know you. You want to come across as a "real" person to them.

Don't bombard them with a sales letter that will turn them off.

Remember, you want to serve your customers, not sell them. Give them answers. They are looking for solutions to their problems.

So draw them in, answer their questions in your text, and connect with them. That is what marketing by attraction is all about. Know your customer.

You know what you want, so you should know what your customers want. You will attract them because they are looking for what you have.
