What's your motivation
to start a business?

What is your motivation to start a business? That is a very important question that only you have the answer to. When answering this question you should answer honestly.

People say they want to start their own business. But very seldom do they ever start. Why? They lack the motivation.

Motivation is a critical element in whatever you decide to do. If you aren't motivated by the things you want, you will end up with what you don't want.

It is the [law of attraction]. Your thoughts bring you whatever you want or don't want.

If your motivation to start a business is to fulfill your dream of working from home (a want), you are on the right path.

But, if your motivation to start a business is to quit your job (a don't want), then you are starting on the wrong path.

If you are motivated out of fear, it is usually short lived. The emotional tie to a negative emotion is shorter. Once the thing you fear is out of mind your motivation goes with it.

So really, what is your motivation to start a business? Do you want more time to do the things you want?

That is the universal answer. There is only so much time in a day. If you aren't leveraging your time, then you are losing time.

Time is the only thing in life that you can't and won't ever get back. Why wish most of your life away to get to the weekend?

The 40 year plan sounds easy to most people because they do what they are told. Telling people what to do and being told what to do are two totally different things.

Someone started the business that you work for. They took a risk so that you could have a job.

Nothing in this life worth having comes without risk. And that is what it's all about. Taking the risk to do what you want to do, how you want to do it.

Are you beginning to understand your motivation to start a business?

Either you continue to debate whether or not you are going to do anything, or just do it. It is much better to regret something you did, versus something you never did.

You don't want to get down the road 35 years into the 40 year plan and realize what a mistake you made.

Finding your motivation to start a business is just the beginning. Having the persistence to continue till you reach your goal is what it really takes.

Once you start your business remember the reasons why you started it in the first place. Do not end up like most people who start a business, and quit.

The most successful people you have ever heard of all have two things in common. FAILURE and PERSISTENCE.

They failed a ton of times, but you never hear about that. You only hear about the time they conquered. It doesn't matter how many times you fail because you will. It's how you respond to that failure that counts.

Stay true to your motivation for starting a business. Your motivations will get you through the rough times.

Please don't allow fear to keep you from doing what you have always wanted to do. Allow yourself motivation through pleasure because your emotional connection to it is stronger than to fear.

Cowards never start their business because they are scared.

People who lose their motivation because of fear are quitters.

And people who persist till they get what they want succeed.
