So, you ask, what is needed to succeed? You must have a willingness to learn new things, seriousness, and a heart that will keep pushing through the tough times.

Just because you don't have to prequalify for network marketing, doesn’t mean that it is easy. But, it isn’t really that hard either. That is, once you know what you are doing!

Are you willing to learn something new?

We have read a lot of books and are still reading books to educate ourselves on the best ways to work this business. You will need to do the same thing. Personal development is so very important.

You have probably been told that network marketing is not about selling. Anyone who tells you that is lying. Network marketing is a sales business. You are selling your product and your opportunity.

This is where many people fall short. They enter into the business thinking that they won’t have to sell. So they don’t sell, and they don’t make any money.

And let's face it; all of us are not good sales people! So, if you are one of those who cringe at the thought of having to sell someone something, you may want to read some literature on sales techniques.

Understand that you don’t have to resort to used car salesman tactics to succeed. You don’t have to be ruthless, but you must learn how to sell network marketing. Just be honest and learn when and how to mention your product or opportunity.

Sales is not about ripping your prospect to shreds. You need to know how to position your opportunity to different people depending on their needs and wants. All of your prospects don’t have the same goals or reasons to start a business.

Along with sales training, you will also need to know how to market your business. Marketing is just putting your business out where people can find it. You want people to find your business and come to you.

When people come to you about your business rather than you going to them, it is called attraction marketing. You will find that it is a lot easier to sell to those who are looking for you than it is to sell to people you are looking for.

Are you serious about your business?

Many times people don't take their network marketing home business opportunity seriously because it didn’t cost them much to start up. It is really easy to stop working your business if you don’t take it seriously.

If you weren’t going to take it seriously, then why did you join in the first place?

Many people feel like they don’t have much to lose if they stop working at their business. You may not lose a lot from your initial investments, but you will lose your chance at financial and personal freedom if you quit.

Never forget that you are the future of network marketing! Just because prequalifying for network marketing is easy doesn't mean that you won't have to work for it.

Do you have heart?

What is meant by heart? Well, you must put everything you have into your business. Your business needs your time, heart, and soul to grow.

You are going to run into some bumps and bruises along the way. All you need to do is keep pushing through and keep believing that you will succeed.

Sometimes you may have to take a step back and ask yourself why you are doing this. Are you doing it for yourself? Your family? Your children?

Whatever the reason; it was a good enough reason for you to get started, so it is a good enough reason to keep you going.

Prequalifying for network marketing will take guts and determination. It's not about the destination, it's about the journey.
