Robert T. Kiyosaki wants to motivate you to generate a passive income through real estate and other small business opportunities such as network marketing. Basically, he wants to show you the ways that you can support yourself financially and not rely on "the system".

He teaches you the difference between assets and liabilities. As you know, assets are things that make you money, and liabilities are things that cost you money. In order to achieve financial freedom, you must have more assets than liabilities.

He boldly proclaims that the best lessons learned are not learned in school. He believes that you learn much more important things through life lessons instead of in a classroom.

He stresses that Employees and the Self Employed will never obtain true wealth and that Business owners and Investors are the only ones following the path to true wealth. This is because Business owners and Investors are earning a passive income.

He believes that network marketing is a great way for you to earn passive/leveraged income. He has said that if he could go back and become a self made millionaire again, he would do it through network marketing.
